A bit of Non-Confusion - Central Park, New York City, New York - - May 2013
The beauteousnes of this image for me is informed by my antiquity. I learned all the principles and a bunch of the history of photography in techique, etc. way back then. When I learned about optics and was informed about the ‘circles of confusion’, it was the shear oxymoronicness of the terminology that etched language into what I saw. I fell in LOVE with ‘circles of confusion’! Here is me being a survivor. I am now of the digital age. This image was made with the (cough cough) Canon 5D (eeks) Mach I. I loved that I made this..and I did not just take an ‘insta’ whatever. I KNEW how this would look and I made it to look like this. Kinda. :)
Central Park, New York City, New York - 31 May 2013
I made this on my way to the gym. I love Central Park and I keep my eyes open. This is one instance of what I saw earlier. Enjoy.

Sometimes… Actually, every time I take a walk along the Hudson River I find something that catches my eye. Here is one instance from this past weekend.
Church Rock at Dusk, New Mexico - 2012
Having lived in New York City since 1996 and having started visiting New York City since 1987, it is sometimes strange to me that this what you see used to be my back yard. Somebody I met recently said I am what you would call an ‘Extremophile’. Best compliment made of me - so far!
